Please join us for the 2nd Annual Kaila and Grace’s Hope and Hearts Run Saturday, September 8, 2007 at the Lake Harriet Bandshell in Minneapolis, MN. The family event will include a 5K Run, 5K Walk, a Kids Fun Run, fun kids' activities, a silent auction, music and great food!

Money raised from this event will go to Missing GRACE Foundation. The mission of Missing GRACE Foundation is to provide resources and support to aid families who have experienced a pregnancy or infant loss, infertility or adoption challenges and to advocate for proper management of pregnancies for all women.

Donate If you are unable to volunteer or even come and participate, you can still support our work by donating. It can be in support of a participant, or just as a general donation to the Foundation.

Sponsor We appreciate and value individual and corporate sponsorships which help to off-set costs of the race. The more sponsors we receive, the more money can be directed to our goal of supporting and educating families/medical community on stillbirth awareness and prevention.

Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Corporate Team

As has been the case every year since 2003, I plan to register a UnitedHealth Group team into the 2007 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Corporate Team Challenge. The marathon takes place on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007. Please know that registering this team is about promoting health and fitness, and fostering a UHG running community. We welcome marathoners of all speeds, and don’t register the team with an expectation of winning the Corporate Team Challenge.

To be part of our team, you need to: 1) be individually registered for the marathon, and 2) let Mike Seaton know that you’d like to be added to our team roster. In past years, we’ve scheduled team lunches to get to know each other and discuss our marathon preparation. We could also schedule some group runs if we have enough interest. We’re looking into the possibility of making team running shirts available. On race day, we try to meet before the race for a group picture, and after the race (everybody runs the marathon at their own pace) to share congratulations.

Lake Harriet Run on 7/25

We have a 3-6 mile run at Lake Harriet scheduled for tonight at 5:30. It's very hot outside, but I'd still like to keep our scheduled run if anybody would like to meet.

If you want to run tonight, please let me know - either with a comment posted here, or by emailing me at michael_p_seaton@uhc.com. If nobody responds, I'll cancel the planned run.

Hi Everyone -
I am now going to be out of town on July 23rd/24th, therefore not able to lead the group run at Medicine Lake on Monday the 23rd. If you're interested/able to fill in for me, please send a post through this site to let me know.
